Wood band saw steel is produced by Uddeholm in Sweden, one of the world's largest producers of saw steel. It is manufactured to strict specifications to give high wear resistance, high fatigue strenght and good elasticiity resistance.

Through state of the art machinery and processes, Checkmate produces both narrow and wide band saws for a multitude of cutting requirements. All band saws are manufactured to withstand rigorous conditions, maintaining tension and sharpness longer, supplying a superior performance. All band saws are manufactured ot meet the customer's requirements. Strip, punched, welded & tensioned or ready to run. Either single or double cut using high quality European Uddeholm or Daido steel for strength and precision

Quality Control

Quality control systems are in place to ensure all saws are manufactured on time and in specification to meet customer requirements. Evaluation forms are used to measure level, tension, kerf etc.
